Webinar Outline

Galvanic corrosion, also known as dissimilar metal or bimetallic corrosion, is simple in theory but complex in practice. While some cases result in high corrosion rates, others intentionally use galvanic effects for protection, such as zinc coatings on steel.

This webinar focuses on the interaction of stainless steel with other metals, covering both positive and negative effects. Topics include:

  • The theory and key factors influencing corrosion rates
  • Practical examples from atmospheric and immersion applications
  • When galvanic corrosion is a concern and how to prevent it

Attendees are encouraged to submit specific cases in advance or bring them up during the Q&A session (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
