Having either a working knowledge or full understanding of stainless steel is important for anyone who works with the material.  In particular, architects, specifiers, designers, fabricators and distributors find it useful to understand more about stainless steel in terms of its composition, mechanical properties, grades, surface finishes and design and fabrication considerations.

Having an appropriate level of knowledge of stainless steel reduces errors, maximises it's effectiveness and protects the reputation of those who work with the material.

ASSDA, in collaboration with the International Stainless Steel Forum, has developed a 17 module Stainless Steel Specialist Course which provides general or in depth knowledge of stainless steel for all who work within the industry.

The course is available on-line, and can be undertaken within your own workplace or at home and at your own pace.  The interactive e-learning environment makes the course rich, fast and exciting.  

Choose to undertake an Intermediate Certificate (5 modules), a Full Certificate (12 modules), or individual modules as you see appropriate.
